Our adult dogs are all genetically tested in highest detail. With this detailed analysis of genetics which we are then able to determine which pairings are ideal and maintain the utmost levels of health, as well as desirable traits, so your new family member is off to the best start possible. A huge amount of time, expense and education goes into the breeding program to keep producing exceptional examples of the Pomeranian breed.
As a preservation breeder of Pomeranians, we pride ourselves on creating puppies that are as close to the Pomeranian breed standard as possible, and have excellent temperaments.
All of the mixed breeds, and non purebred dogs bred in puppy mills are hugely diluting the gene pool, and a lot of these puppies from irresponsible breeders end up in shelters, resulting in more and more mixed breeds needing homes. As this continues, it is even more important to preserve the purebred breeds, so they don't die out and get replaced by mixed breeds. The beauty of the Pomeranian breed is in our opinion so perfect and adored by us that we are extremely passionate about not letting this breed die out, and continuing to breed to the highest standards of the AKC Pomeranian breed. These stunning creatures deserve the utmost love, we are in awe of our pom squad and give them the best possible life. The overall health and well being of each puppy and adult is considered before anything else. We consider ourselves lucky to be the guardians and parents of our pom squad. Our dogs live an enriched life, with a vast amount of love, socialisation and training. Our puppies are handles daily from birth, and they receive loving attention from us as humans but also their biological father who has an active role in the puppies lives as well as their mother.

I have owned and loved Pomeranians since 2014. The dog that stole my heart was a tiny, beautiful, creamy white teddy bear Pomeranian named Ewocki. I originally purchased her in California with the intent of starting my Pomeranian program, however I fell so deeply in love with her and I was afraid that she was too tiny to safely breed, and I concentrated on raising my two sons and moving as a family to North Carolina from California. Sadly my beloved Ewocki passed away and I went through a divorce in the same year. As a single mother raising my boys, and with my oldest son really missing our Ewocki I decided to just try to start my Pomeranian program again, but just a little later than I had originally planned. I flew back to California to purchase a relation to Ewocki to start my program, and when I returned, 2 months later I was given the opportunity to purchase 3 stunning females and one show quality male with champions in his pedigree. I took this opportunity and have never looked back. Using my intense love for genetics and dna from school, myself and my sons have great joy in planning our Pomeranian pairings and learning even more about this wonderful breed, in the hope to better and preserve this unparalleled living teddy bear unique breed of dog....Bourlet Pomeranians was born and it has been a roller coaster of love, snuggles, and fluff for my boys and myself to get absorbed by!
